This is when international and Italian acts invade Lucca in the month of July. All concerts are played outdoors (all’aperto) in Piazza Napoleone (or Piazza Grande as it’s colloquially called). I’ve been several times so I can assure you that it is a well-run event and the atmosphere is electric. Now if you’re not travelling to Italy during this time don’t despair as they have a winter festival too!
