Danilo knows how to do it all, from delivering orders to making our renowned sauce. There isn’t a job he can’t or won’t do.
It would seem he has a soft spot for all sporting teams with a purple strip (Fremantle Dockers, Fiorentina and Perth Glory.) When he does have some free time he loves a punt. He can never resist fresh bread and is forever losing his glasses. Danny is the king of the weber, appreciates a robust drop of red wine, and is always in the middle of a war history book.
Under the guidance of his papa` Florindo – who created our now famous recipes – Danny learnt how to manage and execute the day-to-day operations of Golden Ravioli.
In the beginning, Danny forged his own path, working for an international oil exploration company. However, when the Perth office closed, it launched him into a career within the family business.
When the demand for the tastes of the homeland heightened and the Australian palette matured, Danny learnt how to make ravioli: Golden Ravioli. Soaking up the knowledge and experience of his father and uncles, Danny began to add many more strings to his bow. At the helm of the family business now for over 20 years, Danny has learnt and mastered each vital part of the production process from making the pasta dough and all of our diverse fillings to the sauces and even the lasagna and cannelloni.
Over the years he has built long-term relationships with our valued customers and suppliers. Danny is the caretaker of our pasta creations, negotiating the fine balance of our origins and our future. Under Danny’s leadership, Golden Ravioli continues to produce an exceptional product that guarantees excellence.
