In the 1950s, four Italian brothers set out on a journey …

A journey that commenced from their home in a province of Lucca, Tuscany to their new home Perth, Western Australia. These four brothers arrived on WA soil with next to nothing in their pockets but running through their veins was pure determination, ambition and a rich culture.

This led the brothers to open the famous Northbridge institution, the Romany Restaurant in 1958.  As that chapter closed, a new one opened allowing the brothers to share even more of the family’s history and traditions with the community by introducing their own range of pasta. In 1964, Golden Ravioli was born.
