Easter time has always been a special time of year for me. It is symbolic of new life, fresh starts, growth and my first name – Renée – meaning to be born again. Easter is also a beautiful reminder that life is ever changing. It serves as an opportunity for reinvention and to reconnect with our own spiritual journey. But most importantly, it gives us hope for the future.
My own Easter traditions include:
~ attending Stations of the Cross and baking Tuscan biscuits on Good Friday
~ being surprised by Mum’s incredible custom made baskets and delighting in a long family luncheon on Easter Sunday
~ appreciating the outdoors and milder sunny days with a bbq, picnic or day trip for Pasquetta ~ Easter Monday

In the northern hemisphere, Easter is also about the celebration of spring. Although the seasons are the other way around for us here down under, we still welcome a new season and autumnal recipes to get excited about.

Although the Easter holidays are a wonderful time of year, it is also the busiest here at GR… more so than Christmas!
Don’t forget to place your order today for pick up Thursday [12pm – 5pm] or Saturday [9am – 1pm] from our one and only retail store right here in North Perth. We will be making to order and would hate for you to miss out!
